We’re excited to introduce Root to Branch’s Free Community Speaker Series, a monthly gathering designed to foster education, connection, and support around mental health and overall wellness. Hosted at the beautiful Willows Mansion with the Willows Park Preserve, this series brings together thoughtful speakers and community members in a welcoming, inclusive space. Each event offers an opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect—no cost, no pressure, just meaningful conversation and shared growth.

Creating a "third space."  The idea of a “third space” refers to a place outside of home (the first space) and work (the second space) where people can gather, connect, and build community. In today’s world—where isolation, stress, and fast-paced routines often leave little room for genuine connection—third spaces are more important than ever. Healing from trauma happens within a community that supports connection. Root to Branch’s initiative at The Willows Park Preserve creates exactly this kind of environment: a welcoming, in-person gathering where the community can come together to learn from experts in mental health and related fields, exchange resources, and support one another in a beautiful, restorative setting. By offering these events at no cost, supported by local sponsors, this “third space” becomes not only a place for education, but also a hub of belonging, collaboration, and collective growth for the entire community.
