Job Summary:

Are you passionate about helping people navigate their healthcare options? We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Medicare Advisor to join our team and assist individuals in understanding and selecting the best Medicare plans to meet their needs. As a Medicare Advisor, you will provide personalized guidance and educate clients on the benefits and coverage, ensuring that clients make informed decisions.


Reports To: Team Leader


Duties & Responsibilities:

Identify and assess clients’ needs regarding Medicare enrollment and subsequent coverages if applicable

Educate clients thoroughly on the 4 Parts of Medicare (A,B,C,D) and the plan options that are available based on their needs

Prepare and send clients quotes and plan documentation for potential coverage options

Follow up with clients via phone and email to ensure enrollment dates are met

Assist client with enrollment applications for desired coverages in a timely manner based on their enrollment goals

Provide empathetic and client centric service

Ensure that every client is shown respect, kindness and all questions are thoroughly answered/resolved

Document all interactions with clients in a timely manner based on HTA standards

  • Effectively use multiple programs such as; Acuity (Scheduling), AgencyBloc (CRM), MedicareEdge, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Insurance company web portals
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills & Abilities:

Basic computer, typing and telephone skills.

Ability to multi-task using different platforms

Required Qualifications:

 

High school diploma or equivalent

Insurance experience

Health and Life Insurance License Required


Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
