CCCBI Holiday Party

Description

We will be partnering with the Chester County Food Bank to host a food drive at our Holiday party this year. Please consider bringing an item from the list below:

Most Needed Food Items

  • White rice (16 oz. bags only)
  • Jelly
  • Canned tuna
  • Canned chicken
  • Canned spam
  • Canned fruit
  • Prepared meals such as canned chili or Chef Boyardee meals

Other Greatly Needed Pantry Items

  • Pasta Sauce / Canned Tomatoes
  • Canned Soup & Stews (pop-top appreciated)
  • Fruit (in juice), canned & individual cups
  • Healthy Snacks for Kids (nut free trail mix, popcorn, individual cracker bags, goldfish)
  • Peanut Butter (no high fructose corn syrup, look for the brown lid) 

PLEASE NO GLASS OR EXPIRED ITEMS!

***low-sodium, low-sugar, no high fructose corn syrup when possible***

Consider including non-food items that are not able to be purchased using SNAP (food stamps).
Among the everyday grocery items, you can not purchase using SNAP are:

  • personal hygiene (e.g. deodorant/toothpaste)
  • feminine hygiene (e.g. tampons/pads)
  • diapers
  • toilet paper
  • paper towels/tissues
  • paper plates/cups
