The Future of Reliable Energy in Chester County
|
Earlier today, CCCBI hosted its August edition of the monthly Speaker Series: The Future of Reliable Energy.
This series set out with three goals, to educate businesses on the current and future landscape of energy reliability, including infrastructure, technology, and regulations, to equip businesses with actionable strategies to enhance energy efficiency, infrastructure resilience, and sustainability, and to engage stakeholders in discussions on overcoming challenges and leveraging opportunities within the evolving energy sector.
Guest panelists Tyler Ladd, PE: Director of Power Engineering and Capital Design & Construction at Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), P. Timothy Phelps: Executive Director at Transportation Management Association of Chester County, and Greg A. Vietri: President at G.A. Vietri, Inc. Electrical Construction, joined CCCBI Member and Non-Member attendees to share their experiences and perspectives.
The open discussion allowed guests to ask questions and express the challenges that their business and employees are facing. Organizations like SEPTA are investing in energy efficiency and reliability efforts, like zero emission busses, solar generation projects and microgrid evaluations. TMACC is constantly seeking acting as a resource and collaborator in multimodal transportation solutions. At G.A. Vietri Inc. Electrical Construction, they have seen over forty years’ worth of infrastructure changes and necessities when it comes to both construction and emergency services.
This unique conversation provided a new look into the problems that Chester County residents and businesses are facing, as well as the distribution and infrastructure challenges that energy providers are facing.
Thank you to all who joined us, including our knowledgeable panelists and our Lunch Sponsor, Bowers R&D Associates.
