This morning, CCCBI held our first session of the Nonprofit Thought Leadership Series for 2026!
We welcomed RKL Virtual Solutions and the Chester County United Way to our offices for some delicious breakfast, networking, and highly informative presentation.
Attendees were able to hear from expert speakers Gretchen G. Naso - MBA, CVA, President, Victoria N. Pritchard - Technology & Innovation Practice Leader, Meghann E. Ryan - Financial Transformation & Client Integration Manager and Jordan Zimmerman, CPA - Core Accounting Practice Leader.
Over thirty professionals from across the nonprofit sector transformed their understanding of non-profit financial management in a hands-on workshop designed specifically for NFP leaders, board members, and staff. They gained insights and practical skills to better interpret financial statements, develop effective budgets, and identify key performance metrics critical to informed financial decision-making.
This interactive session truly demystified nonprofit financial management through real-world examples, group discussions and expert guidance.

PA Celebrates 110th Annual Farm Show

Pennsylvania recently hosted the 110th annual Farm Show in Harrisburg. The event drew an estimated 500,000 visitors and highlighted the depth, diversity, and economic impact of Pennsylvania’s $132.5 billion agriculture industry. This year’s theme, “Growing a Nation,” connected the state’s agricultural heritage to the America250PA celebration, marking 250 years since America’s founding.
Many Chester County agricultural products and industries were prominently displayed at the farm show, as Chester County ranks 2nd among the state’s 67 counties for agricultural production and invests more than $3 billion in the local economy. Our agriculture industry also supports thousands of local jobs, from farmers and processors to those in transportation and retail, providing fresh, high-quality food for residents.
Beyond its economic impact, agriculture plays a crucial role in preserving our open spaces and maintaining the character that draws so many people to live and visit here. As Chester County continues to grow and evolve, it is essential to recognize and support our agricultural industry. By valuing local farms, advocating for smart land-use policies, and choosing locally grown products such as Chester County’s famous mushrooms, we can ensure that agriculture remains a vibrant, integral part of Chester County’s present and future. In doing so, we protect not only our economy but also the very spirit of our community.
