Special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with Positive Wiring

Last Wednesday, CCCBI joined Positive Wiring to celebrate the grand opening of their new location and 5 year anniversary!

From the start, Positive Wiring has been about more than cables and connections. It has always been about people, relationships, and building something meaningful together. The crowd of friends, business leaders and community members who came to support Matt and his team created such a welcoming and fun environment.

Congratulations to Matt and best of luck for many years to come!

Special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with Mercy LIFE Chester County

The Trinity Health PACE programs are nationally recognized for providing high quality, comprehensive care in the communities they serve. Michael Staiber from Mercy LIFE Chester County orchestrated the ribbon cutting at their 6th location in Coatsville.

The program started with some moving prayer sessions and there were multiple awards given out to staff members for exceptional service.

Some great heavy hors d' Oeuvres were provided and multiple EMS and fire trucks came to support this new locations ribbon cutting.

Congratulations to Mercy LIFE!

Pennsylvania: The Only State in the Northeast with a Growing Economy

Pennsylvania is the only Northeast state with an expanding economy, according to an Axios study by Chief Economist Mark Zandi. The study was based on personal income, state-level performance in jobs, housing starts, and industrial production. Only 16 out of 50 states were identified as having current economic growth, meaning 20 states are in or near a recession.

The Commonwealth has been identified as PA, one of the 20 Best States for Business, and has stood out as the only state in the Northeast, ranking #9 in the nation for investment site-readiness programs. While PA was ranked #17, maintaining the same ranking from 2024, but down two spots from 2023. PA placed 17th overall, thanks to a strong economy and infrastructure, but struggled in the workforce development and business friendliness rankings.

PA's recent policy updates have significantly improved interest in business investment. The introduction of the Permit Fast Track Program for significant projects and the Payback guarantee has reduced uncertainty for businesses, compelling agencies to act faster on permits or refund fees. Investment in PASITES has increased land and awarded $113 million for 29 projects across the Commonwealth. Initiatives such as PASmart aim to improve workforce development, expand skills training, and make PAs significantly more competitive for businesses looking to expand. These policy updates have attracted $25 billion in private-sector investment, creating 12,000 new jobs and positioning PA as a national leader in economic development. These policies have driven Investment in AI, such as Amazon's 20$ billion investments, creating thousands of jobs for the Commonwealth.

Other funding sources include the Main Street Matters grant program, which provides $20 million statewide for streetscape and infrastructure upgrades. In Pittsburgh, local, state, and private investors committed $600 million to a "collective investment plan," including $62.6 million for upgrades to public spaces and infrastructure. These investments aim to draw in additional investment and development, creating thousands of jobs and improving urban centers' infrastructure.

Pennsylvania stands as a leader in the Northeast, reflecting the Commonwealth's policies to create a competitive environment for businesses and employers. PA's investments aim to reduce economic uncertainty and drive innovation, building a stronger economy for PA.
